Lucas Alan Smith, age 36, of Buffalo City, WI, passed away unexpectedly at Winona Health on February 6th, 2024.
Lucas was born on February 2nd, 1988 in Winona, MN to Tim and Lori (Sievers) Smith.
Lucas was baptized and confirmed at Hope United Church in Cochrane.
He graduated from Cochrane-Fountain City High School and studied at Viterbo University.
He loved and excelled at playing baseball, golf and basketball and he also was dedicated to his studies. Lucas loved to go fishing and also going out and enjoying the river.
He was employed at Ashley Furniture as a supervisor and also in inventory and returns. He was dedicated and also assisted his co-workers with passion and kindness.
Lucas had three beautiful children whom he loved and cherished with Georgina Rae Smith, Fountain City, WI. He is survived by his children Blaine Lucas Smith, Isabella Marley Smith and Liam Mark Smith, of Fountain City. He is also survived by his sister Cassie (Carlos Teixeira) Koscianski-Teixeira, brother Dylan Koscianski and Tyler (Savanna Johnson) Smith. He was also a beloved uncle to Santiago, Tegan, Julian and Ashton.
Lucas was a positive and caring father, son and brother. He had a gentle and loving spirit and a beautiful smile. He will be missed and will be forever in our hearts.
A memorial service for Lucas will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 1pm at Hope United Church of Christ located at 210 Michaels St, Cochrane, WI with Rev. Dr. Deborah Kunkel, officiating. A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday at the church from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service.
Following the service, all are welcome to attend and gather for a luncheon at the Church.
