Lucia Coronel 14 de diciembre de 1949 - 4 de octubre de 2025 Con gran pesar compartimos que Lucia Coronel, de 75 años, originaria de Canutillo, Texas, falleció en paz el 4 de octubre de 2025, después de una larga lucha contra la cirrosis hepática no alcohólica causada por una transfusión de sangre. Nació el 14 de diciembre de 1949, hija de Antonio y Beatriz Fraustro. Lucia fue la amada esposa de Luis Coronel y la dedicada madre de tres hijos: José, Daniel y Martha Coronel. Fue la mayor de once hermanos, sobreviviéndole Martha, Irma, Estela, Alicia, Pepe y Gerónimo. Un papel que abrazó con amor, fortaleza y un corazón bondadoso que guió a su familia a lo largo de su vida. Durante 25 años, Lucia se dedicó al Distrito Escolar Independiente de Canutillo, trabajando en el área de nutrición infantil. Su amabilidad, esfuerzo y sonrisa sincera tocaron la vida de incontables estudiantes y compañeros de trabajo. Siempre sintió un gran orgullo por su labor y por servir a su comunidad. Lucia encontraba alegría en los momentos simples y hermosos de la vida: cocinar deliciosos platillos como caldito de res, enchiladas, empanadas y muchos otros favoritos de la familia. También le encantaba plantar y disfrutar de su fuente de agua. Pero, sobre todo, amaba pasar tiempo con su esposo y con sus nietos: José, Jasmin, Daniel, Gilbert, Jeanette, Edward y Briana. En sus últimos días tuvo la bendición de conocer a la nueva integrante de la familia, Emma, su primera bisnieta. Su risa, generosidad y espíritu bondadoso permanecerán por siempre en el corazón de quienes la conocieron. Deja como legado un ejemplo de amor, familia y bondad que nunca será olvidado.
Lucia Coronel December 14, 1949 - October 4, 2025 With heavy hearts, we share that Lucia Coronel, age 75, of Canutillo, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025, after a long battle with non-alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver caused by a blood transfusion. She was born on December 14, 1949, to Antonio and Beatrice Fraustro. Lucia was the beloved wife of Luis Coronel and the devoted mother of three children: Jose, Daniel, and Martha Coronel. She was the oldest of eleven siblings and is survived by Martha, Irma, Estela, Alicia, Pepe, and Geronimo. It was a role she embraced with love, strength, and a nurturing heart that guided her family throughout her life. For 25 years, Lucia dedicated herself to the Canutillo Independent School District, working in child nutrition. Her kindness, hard work, and warm smile touched the lives of countless students and coworkers. She took great pride in her work and in serving her community. Lucia found joy in the simple, beautiful moments of life-cooking delicious meals such as caldito de res, enchiladas, empanadas, and many more family favorites. She also loved gardening and spending time near her water fountain. Most of all, she loved being with her husband and her grandchildren: Jose, Jasmin, Daniel, Gilbert, Jeanette, Edward, and Briana. In her final days, she was blessed to meet the newest addition to the family, Emma, her first great-granddaughter. Her laughter, generosity, and caring spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, family, and kindness that will never be forgotten.
