Lucia Miceli was born in New Orleans, LA on September 9, 1923, and entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the age of 102. Lucia lived in New Orleans, LA.
Lucia was the daughter of late Joseph Miceli and the late Angelina Ricks Miceli. She is survived by her cousins Antoinette Alonzo, Philip DiStefano (Marion), Mary Perrin (Keith), Mark Redding (Jackie Case) and Matthew Redding (Bonnita Day), her godson Bennie Goings (Connie) and her dear friends Mary Jo Mosca and Mona & Frankie Hoffman.
Lucia worked as a beautician and owned her own salon, The Crown of Beauty in Algiers.
Her funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Mothe Funeral Home, 1300 Vallette St, LA. Visitation will be held from 8:30 am to 9:00 am, and the funeral service will begin at 9:00 am. Interment to immediately follow at Westlawn Memorial Park, 1255 Whitney Ave, Gretna, LA.
