Lucia lived a life defined by her extraordinary kindness, deep compassion, and unwavering dedication to the care of her family and others. Lucia devoted 44 years of her life to the nursing profession as a Registered Nurse, touching countless lives with the same warmth and tenderness she brought to everything she did. Her career was not simply a profession but a true calling, one that reflected the very core of who she was. Colleagues and patients alike knew her as someone whose caring nature extended far beyond the bedside, offering comfort and reassurance to all who needed it.

Beyond her remarkable career, Lucia possessed a creative spirit and a deep love for the natural world. She was an accomplished artist who found joy in both painting and drawing, capturing beauty on canvas with the same grace she brought to her daily life. Her passion for gardening was evident in every bloom she cultivated, and she took particular pride in growing orchids, nurturing these delicate flowers with patience and skill. Her gardens were a reflection of her soul, vibrant, beautiful, and lovingly tended.

Lucia is survived by her devoted husband, Pompei Leonard Orlando, Jr.; her two loving sons, Pompei Leonard Orlando, III, and Christopher James Orlando. Her family was the center of her world, and the love she shared with them will endure her most treasured legacy.

Those who knew Lucia will remember her gentle spirit, her generous heart, and her remarkable ability to make others feel seen and cared for. May she now find eternal peace and rest in the loving embrace of God.
