Lucia Marie Wolfe, born on March 8, 1952, in Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully in her sleep in the arms of her devoted husband, Ronald Dean Wolfe, on February 14, 2025, at the age of 72.
Lucia lived a life defined by love, faith, and service. She married the love of her life, Ronald, in 1976, and together they built a beautiful life centered around family and unwavering devotion to one another. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who always put her family first. Her faith was her guiding light, carrying her through life’s joys and challenges, including a long and courageous battle with cancer. Through it all, she remained a beacon of strength, grace, and love to those around her.
Lucia is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Ronald; her children, Ronald Wayne Price, Ava (Jim) Chatfield, Melissa Wolfe, and Deanna Hampton; her brothers, Murvin and John Parker; her 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her aunt, nieces, nephews and several family members who adored her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Avo “Audell” Clark, and her brother, Billy Parker, great-grandson, Lincoln Wolfe.
Services to honor Lucia’s life will be held at Flanner & Buchanan on Holt Rd. Public viewing will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. On Friday, February 28, 2025, there will be a final viewing from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM.
Lucia’s warmth, generosity, and unwavering love will be deeply missed but forever cherished by those who knew her. Her resilience and faith through life’s hardships, especially her battle with cancer, will remain an inspiration to all who were blessed to know her.
