She is also survived by very special friends who were like family to her, Barbara Ward, Pastor Brenda Jefferson, Ola Evans, Lorraine Adams, Elizabeth Anne White, and Yvonne Pittman; her God Children, Tajh Andrews and Vonnie Hollins Peterson.
Jackie was a hard-working individual who worked for over thirty-five years at Vellumoid Manufacturing, choosing to delay her retirement until well into her seventies. She was a member of New Praise Cathedral Worship Center and was formerly a member of Second Baptist. She had also been a member of the Worcester Lodge of Elks I.B.P.O.E. of W, Nokomis Temple.
Jackie loved to dress … Jackie was always sharp from head to toe and more than likely, she had a matching hat. She loved God first, but 2nd she loved buying scratch tickets and going to the casino. Jackie loved her family and LOVED children and would always go in her bag for a few dollars or a piece of candy to share with them.
She will be greatly missed.
