Nikki taught elementary school in several Panhandle towns, including Panhandle, Perryton, Spearman, Gruver and Amarillo. One of her joys was hearing from former students.

Her family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the remarkable staffs of the Beehive Homes and Enhabit Hospice who provided loving care during the final years of her life.
