Born October 2, 1926, in Genoa, IL the daughter of Joseph Herrmann and Emma Drendel. Lucille was known for her adventurous spirit, warm heart, and vibrant personality. She brought joy and light to everyone she met and made a lasting impact on those lucky enough to know her.
A master puzzle solver and avid bingo player, Lucille's quick wit and determination made her a winner in every game she played. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by her loved ones, especially watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow up, cheering them on at their sports events and milestones.
Lucille cherished her time with family, whether it was shopping trips to Target for necessities with Bridgett or routine Ice Cream date nights with her sister-in-law Shirley and niece Janet. She also loved dining out at her favorite restaurant, Texas Roadhouse, where she'd gather with family and friends to make more memories. Lucille adored her church family as she was a longtime member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Maple Park where she found peace and strength in the community she loved.
Lucille leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and love, and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her daughters-in-law, Margie (Richard) Deiter and Sandy Campbell; grandchildren, Bridgett (Jason) Kedzie, Brian (Gina) Ormond, Brandon (Kathy) Campbell, Michelle (Dan) Boland, Adrienne (Dan) Sivert, Jenna (Todd) Coss and Scott Campbell; 13 great-grandchildren; many great-great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Shirley Herrmann as well as many nieces and nephews.
