Mrs. Lucille Comeaux Leger, 84, a native and lifelong resident of Patterson died, Monday, March 14, 2011 at 10:10pm at the Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City. Mrs. Lucille is survived by her son, Kenneth ‘Hoss’ Leger and his wife, Cindy, of Houston, TX.; her two daughters, Emma Estay and her husband, Floyd, of Patterson, and Mary Jane Madere and her husband. Gene, of Springfield; seven grandchildren, F.J., Matthew, and Monique Estay, Robert and Jennifer Wallace, and Jason and Kenny Leger; ten great grandchildren, Coy, Chase, Joey, and Ryan Estay, Jacob and Julie McMorris, Rick and Scott Avis, Gianna Wells Leger, and Blaine Leger; and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Leger; her parents, Adolph and Emma P. Comeaux; two brothers, Camille and Phillip Comeaux; and five sisters, Theola Blanco, Octavia Daigle, Rita Roy, Louise Dreyer, and Edna Roy. Mrs. Lucille was a member of the Patterson American Legion Post 242 Ladies Auxiliary. The family requests that visitation be observed Thursday, March 17, 2011 from 6pm to 9pm at Ibert’s Mortuary in Patterson with a rosary being prayed at 7pm. Visitation will resume Friday, March 18th at 8:30am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson until time of service. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, March 18th at 11am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson with Father Donovan Labbe officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert’s Mortuary, Inc. of Patterson, Louisiana 70392.
