LUCILLE C. OSTMANN
Lucille Ostmann, 90, Centralia, MO passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born June 12, 1935, in St. Peters, MO the daughter of the late Ben and Anna (Haidocek) Schneider. On May 5, 1951, she was united in marriage to Ralph Ostmann who preceded her in death on May 3, 2014.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son Ronald Ostmann & Liz of Paris, MO; two grandchildren Jennifer Giannoulis and her husband Alex and Carrie Pettypool and her husband Nate; four great grandchildren Sophie, Max, Gunner and Griffin; a special niece Linda Ostmann Bormann and her husband Don; a longtime friend Tom Genz and his wife Kathy; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband Ralph, one son Don, her brother Robert and two sisters Bernice and Shirley preceded her in death.
Lucille was a homemaker and was a devoted member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Centralia, MO. She served in many capacities at the church and served on the bord at the Centralia Senior Center. She enjoyed quilting, baking and spending time with her family and church family.
A Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 am Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Centralia, MO. Interment will be in the Centralia City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, February 6, 2026, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO with a Rosary to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Spirit Building Fund or to the Centralia Senior Center or to the American Cancer Society, c/o Oliver Funeral Home, P.O. Box 125, Centralia, MO 65240.
