Lucille Lois Troff, 95, of Amery, Wisconsin passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at her residence, surrounded by family.
Lucille was born on October 16, 1929 to Marten and Allis Geerdes in Northern Iowa. She grew up on a farm. She graduated from Swea City High School in 1949. She received a school emblem for vocal music in 1947-1948. She met Wendell Troff and they were married on November 4, 1950 in Blue Earth Minnesota. To this marriage three children were born.
Lucille was a homemaker that loved to bake. She always had goodies on hand if company showed up. If you ever left her house hungry it was your own fault. She loved to sew and make dolls and blankets for the grandkids and great grandkids. Her great grandkids and great-great grandkids were the light of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bud, Bob and Don; sister, Delores; husband, Wendell; son, Rick; great granddaughter, Marriah Yager; and her great-great grandson, Aiden Rotering Hildebrandt.
She is survived by her son, Randy (Susan) Troff; daughter, Sandra Troff; daughter-in-law, Pat Troff; grandchildren, Andrea Troff, Carrie (Steve) Rotering, Brent (Amanda) Troff, Shane (Mandy) Troff, Rory (Robin) Troff; 16 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Amery, WI. A visitation will be held from 4-7pm on Friday, December 20, 2024 at the Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery and again one hour prior to the service at the church.
