In loving memory of Lucinda Dawn Kady

Lucinda Dawn Kady, a beloved wife, daughter, and letter carrier, embraced life with a vibrant spirit that touched the hearts of all who knew her. Born August 15, 1979, in Roosevelt, UT, Lucinda's journey came to a peaceful end after a four month battle with cancer on October 27, 2023, Farmington, NM. She was 44 years old.
Lucinda's passion for spreading warmth and joy radiated through her work as a letter carrier. Her dedication and commitment endeared her to the community, making her a familiar and cherished figure. Her cheerful smile and a kind demeanor lifted the spirits of those she encountered along her route, making her an integral part of the lives of so many.
Though her time on earth was cut short, Lucinda leaves behind treasured memories that will forever remain etched in the heart of her loved ones. She is survived by her loving husband, Gerald Kady and her Devoted son, Rhys Kady, who stood by her side through thick and thin. With undying support from her daughter, Taylor Schanno, and her sister, Barbie Phillips. Lucinda also leaves behind her father Enos Ferrier, and her mother Doneita Ferrier, who supported and nurtured her throughout life's journey.
Lucinda's life will be celebrated in a joyful ceremony held at 2:30 pm. on November 5, 2023 at the Mesa View baptist church at 4 Rd 5323 Farmington, NM. Friends, family, and all the lives she touched are invited to gather together to honor her memory. The service will be a reflection of the vibrant spirit that Lucinda possessed, filled with cherished memories, music, and heartfelt tributes to a life well-lived.
Following the ceremony, it is with deepest respect that Lucinda will be cremated, as per her wishes. In the face of this loss, let us remember Lucinda as a beacon of light in our lives. May her warmth and love continue to inspire us as we celebrate the incredible legacy she left behind. She will forever live in our hearts, and her memories will guide the light into our darkest moments.
Lucinda, may you find eternal peace in a place where your spirit can soar freely, you will forever be missed, but your memory and legacy shall live on, guiding us with love and grace.
