Lucrata Lamm Jones, a woman of genuine love, kindness and a heart of gold leaves a legacy of deep faith and love for the Lord to her beloved family and friends.

Lucrata Lamm Jones, 95, passed away early Sunday morning with her heartbroken family by her side as she took her last breaths. Lucrata was born in Nash Co. to the late Archie & Sallie Dew Lamm. Lucrata lived a long fulfilling life, inspiring and encouraging others along the way. She raised a beautiful family, always teaching them to see past people's flaws and love them unconditionally. Lucrata was a blessing to many and the tears shed will not be only of sadness, but of joy, knowing she in now in a far better place, suffering no more. Along with her parents, Lucrata was preceded in death by her loving husbands, Wiley "Pete" Denton and Lester W. Jones; her sons, Stanley Denton, Archie Thomas Denton; her grandson, Bobby T. Denton and her 12 siblings.

Lucrata is survived by her daughter Sally Deans; her grandchildren, Adrienne Milian (Carlos), Chris Albrecht (Ashley) and Clay Denton; her great grandchildren, Ian and Isabella Milian; Milie and Maveric Albrecht, her daughter in law, Phyllis Jordan Denton and a host of several great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00am on Thursday, October 2, 2025 in the Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel with visitation the night prior, Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Burial at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S. Wilmington Street, Raleigh NC following the service.
