Lucy L. Biando, 97, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Bridge Hospice Care Center with her family by her side. Lucy was born in Detroit, MI on May 26, 1928, to the late Louis and Genevieve (DiCiacca) Coppola. Lucy married Fred Biando on September 12, 1946, who preceded her in death on July 27, 1991.
Lucy is survived by her daughter Pamela and Mark Dillion of Findlay, seven grandchildren Raymond(Melissa) Biando Jr, Michael Biando, Kristen(Shawn) Purcell, Vincent Biando, Tara(Chad) Luzader, Tiffany Crupi, Andrew(Heather) Dillion, seventeen great grandchildren Bianca, Raymond III, Jasmine, Jescinia, Anthony, Evan, Shawn Jr., Shannon, Silas, Haiden, Anna, Catelina, Sabrina, Daniel, Lucia, Jordan, Jack, Samuel, and two great great grandchildren Hunter and Harley, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving son Raymond Biando Sr., six brothers and two sisters.
Lucy was a homemaker who loved to cook for her family. She was famous for her soup and pasta sauce. She loved babysitting her granddogs Ceasar and Augie. She enjoyed playing dominoes, board games, watching Judge Judy and Storage Wars. She cherished her faith and enjoyed spending time with her church family at Van Buren Methodist Church for over 25 years. She made an imprint on the lives of her family and everyone who knew her.
The family would like to thank Debra Busick, Paulette Naso, Tami Naso, the second floor staff at Blanchard Valley Hospital, and Hospice Care staff for their time and care.
A visitation will be held at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Findlay, from 12pm to 4pm on Sunday, September 28, 2025. A funeral service will be held on Monday September 29, 2025 at the funeral home at 11am with Pastor Kelly Sterling officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hancock County Humane Society or Cancer Patient Services of Findlay in her name. Online condolences may be shared at www.coldrencrates.com
