Hicks, Lucy Ann - Age 91, of Flint, passed away March 8, 2026. Arrangements are being provided by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Cremation has taken place and there will be no services held at this time. Lucy was born February 6, 1935 in Patroon, Texas, the daughter of George and Allie (Moore) Harper. She received her Graduate Equivalence Degree at Mott Community College. Lucy was a Cook at Hurley Hospital for over 20 years until her retirement. She was a member of Greater Emmanuel Temple Church of the Apostolic Faith, District Elder Melvin Davis. She loved to travel, had a passion for helping the sick and elderly and would transport them to their appointments, and was an excellent cook and caterer. Surviving are: daughter, Merry Monique McClain; Godson, Dreyon Wynn; sisters, Altee Harris, Verna Margaret Williams; brother, Johnnie Mack Harper; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; three brothers, George Harper Jr., Nathaniel Harper, Calvin Ross Harper; two sisters, Georgia Mae Taylor, Willie Mae Dantzler; three brothers in law, Joe Dantzler, Tommy Taylor, Warren Harris.
