Lucy Huff Obituary
Lucy Ne Huff (age 86), widow of Charles H. Huff, passed away on January 5, 2022 after many months of hospice care for her lung cancer at Capital Caring Health Alder Center on the Van Metre Campus in Aldie, VA. Lucy was and have always been a non-smoker. Lucy was preceded in death by her husband and her parents (Nguyen Van Xinh and Nguyen Thi Dan).
Lucy was born in South Vietnam on August 2, 1936 and was an only child of Mr.& Mrs. Nguyen Van Xinh. Lucy lost both of her parents at a very young age. In life, Lucy was happiest working as a Bank Teller at the American Embassy in Vietnam, where she met many people and her future husband.
In 1975, Lucy left her homeland during the fall of Saigon and came to America, where she met up with many of her Vietnamese friends. Lucy was a member of the Blessed Vietnamese Martyrs Catholic Church in Annandale, VA, and was an active member. Lucy even once worked as the Church Secretary for Holy Martyrs of Vietnam Catholic Church in Arlington, VA. Lucy belongs to many religious Catholic Society such as the Blue Army.
After many years in America and in the later years of her life, she met her late husband, Charles H. Huff, where she spent a short, but happy marriage with him.
