Lucy Ritter Needham, 99, of Seagrove, died Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Randolph Health in Asheboro.
Funeral Services, 3:00 PM, Friday, October 18, 2024, at Antioch Christian Church, Seagrove.
Officiating, Rev. Brian Faircloth.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Lucy was a native and longtime resident of Randolph County. She was a faithful member of Antioch Christian Church where she was a Sunday School teacher, sang in the choir for many years and was the last member of Antioch Gospel Quartet. Lucy worked at Bossong Hosiery Mill, was a homemaker and loved working on the farm. She loved her family and her church family. She enjoyed gardening and sewing. She made quilts for family and friends with love. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kelly Needham, parents, John and Candas Garner Ritter, brothers, Robert Ritter, Lexie Ritter, Jesse Ritter, Henry Ritter, and Willie Ritter, sisters, Lillian Needham and Dorothy Davis.
Survivors: daughter, Anita N. Wright and husband, Randall, of Asheboro, son, Jimmy F. Needham and wife, Beth, of Seagrove, grandchildren, Steven Wright and wife, Crystal, Brian Wright and wife, Shannon, James Needham and wife, Colleen, Katie Needham, David Needham and wife, Taylor, great-grandchildren, Avery, Ansley, Laken, London, and Banks Wright, Jackson and Levi Needham, sister-in-laws, Billie Needham, Nancy Needham, Rosa Owens and special friends, Phyllis and Ronald Hammonds.
Visitation, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and other times at the home of Jimmy and Beth Needham.
