Lucy Parker Obituary
Born in Natick, RI, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Philomena Padula.
Lucy worked as a financial administrator for the Naval Exchange in New London, CT and did volunteer work with the Hope Valley Ambulance Corps. She was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church. She enjoyed golfing and bowling as well as playing shuffle board at the Westerly Senior Center. Lucy loved playing cards and traveling with her late husband.
She leaves behind her son Donald B. Parker, Jr. and wife Kathy of Annapolis, MD; her grandson Morgan and granddaughter Mallorie. Lucy was predeceased by 6 siblings.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, July 15th from 5-7pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Wednesday, July 16th at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 7 Church St., Bradford. There is no processionrom the funeral home to church. Burial will be private.
