Luella “Babe” M. (Bucks) Edris, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. She was born on May 13, 1932 to the late Allen Peter and Luella M. (Fittery) Bucks. She was predeceased in April of 2025 by her loving husband of 72 years, Frederick H. Edris.
She was a 1950 graduate of Hershey High School and a class officer. She worked for The Hershey Chocolate Company for over 40 years. She also drove a school van for the Palmyra Area School District.
Babe had a deep love for music and faith. She was an avid church singer and performed with country bands, even recording music in Nashville, an accomplishment she was proud of. A longtime and devoted member of Campbelltown United Methodist Church, her voice and spirit were a meaningful part of the congregation. Babe was known for her quick wit and sharp sense of humor, never missing a chance to lovingly roast those she cared about. She found joy in simple pleasures, especially spending time with her horses and mowing her lawn barefoot. More than anything, Babe was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, whose love and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Wade Edris and wife Karen Green; grandson, Dylan Roskams-Edris and wife Jessica; great granddaughter, Octavia Mae Edris; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by siblings, Pearl Fausnacht, Chester, Earl, and Harold Bucks, and Helen Warfel
