Doris is survived by five children, Michelle O'Neill (late Jack), Scott Edris (Lynn), Lisa Currens (Jon Weaver), Alison Vedder (Chris), and Heather Edris Smith (Andrew); 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and her father's widow, Ethel.
Doris enjoyed reading, playing the piano, listening to music from her favorite performers, needlepoint, and shopping. Doris was especially proud of her family. Doris retired from ACCO (American Chain and Cable Co.) in 2001. Prior to her dementia, she was a lifetime member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, East Berlin, PA.
The family wants to express their deep gratitude to the staff at Rest Haven for the loving care and kindness they gave our mother during her time spent there.
At Doris's request there will be a private graveside service. John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 2114 W. Market Street, York, PA is assisting with arrangements.
