Luis Gonzalez Calatrava, 74, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025, in South Houston, Texas.

Born on December 16, 1950, in Mexico, Luis lived a life marked by independence, complexity, and resilience.

Luis's personal journey was not without its challenges, and his relationship with his children was not always easy, however, it has helped shaped who they are today. His passing marks a time of reflection and healing. The lessons taken from his children is the importance of forgiveness, resilience, and the strength to define their own paths.

He is survived by his children, Luis and wife Jennifer, Adriana and husband Lyle, Cynthia and husband Mark and the mother of his children Silvia. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Kenny, Jacob, Miranda, Sophia and Isabella and his sister Lila along with others whose lives he encountered. They each remember him in their own way and wish him peace in his next journey.

Luis's life reminds us of the imperfect, human nature of family bonds and the varied legacies each person leaves behind.

A remembrance will be held by the family on Thursday, October 2nd from 5-8pm.
