Luis Enrique Cruz

Luis Enrique went to be with the Lord on June 1, 2025. Luis was born on the 26th of October 1995, in Hobbs, New Mexico. He was the loving son of Norma Carrasco and Joel Cruz. Before the tragic loss, Luis was the most caring and loving gentleman you have ever met. He had a big smile on his face no matter what the situation was. He loved spending time with his family and friends, he loved being with his four nephews Jeremiah, Luciano, Elijah, Malachi and two nieces Mylah and Hazel, they were his pride and joy. Luis always loved being with his dad and Gera messing with horses. He loved going to horse races on Sundays and going to dances to help his friend with the instruments. He loved jamming to his favorite music. Luis would help anyone when he could.

Luis is survived by his father Joel Cruz, and three siblings Samuel Cruz, Edgar Cruz (Fiancé Ashley Fabela), and Elizabeth Cruz (Fiancé Dylan Bristow), and aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother Norma Carrasco, paternal grandparents Joel Cruz Soto and Angelina Nevarez De Cruz, and his maternal grandfather Enrique Carrasco Olivas.

Luis Enrique partió con el Señor el 1 de junio de 2025. Luis nació el 26 de octubre de 1995 en Hobbs, Nuevo México. Era el hijo cariñoso de Norma Carrasco y Joel Cruz. Antes de la trágica pérdida, Luis era el hombre más cariñoso y afectuoso que jamás haya conocido. Tenía una gran sonrisa en el rostro, sin importar la situación. Le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos; le encantaba estar con sus cuatro sobrinos: Jeremiah, Luciano, Elijah y Malachi, y sus dos sobrinas: Mylah y Hazel; eran su orgullo y alegría. A Luis siempre le encantaba estar con su papá y Gera jugando con los caballos. Le encantaba ir a las carreras de caballos los domingos e ir a bailes para ayudar a su amigo con los instrumentos. Le encantaba escuchar su música favorita. Luis ayudaba a cualquiera cuando podía. A Luis le sobreviven su padre, Joel Cruz, y sus tres hermanos, Samuel Cruz, Edgar Cruz (prometida Ashley Fabela) y Elizabeth Cruz (prometida Dylan Bristow), además de sus tías, tíos y numerosos primos. Le precedieron en la muerte su madre, Norma Carrasco; sus abuelos paternos, Joel Cruz Soto y Angelina Nevarez De Cruz; y su abuelo materno, Enrique Carrasco Olivas.
