Luis Jimenez Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Twin Chapels Mortuary on Feb. 27, 2026.
On February 18, 2026, the world lost a hardworking and deeply loved family man, Luis, at the age of 82.

Born in Jalisco, Mexico, as the fourth of thirteen children, Luis understood the value of family and hard work from an early age. He built a life centered around a strong Catholic faith and an unwavering commitment to providing for those he loved. For 30 years, he dedicated himself to demanding work in construction, and for four decades, he successfully ran his own lawn business.

His connection to the outdoors continued at home, where his remarkable green thumb yielded to a backyard full of thriving fruit trees. Beyond his incredible work ethic and love for nature, Luis will be remembered for his warmth and his talents in the kitchen. He was an amazing cook who loved nothing more than having his family gathered around to share a meal and spend quality time together.

His legacy of love lives on through his large and beautifully blended family. He is survived by his wife, Olivia; his three daughters, two step-sons, and two stepdaughters; his fifteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; as well as seven brothers and one sister. He is now reunited in eternal peace with his parents, two brothers, and two sisters who preceded him in death.
