Luis R. Montes, age 78, of Lake Worth, FL, passed away on September 26, 2025. Luis was born on October 21, 1946, in Quito, Ecuador, to Luis Amable Montes and Beatriz Molineros.

On June 26, 1970, Luis married Zoila Naranjo in New York City. Together, they shared 55 years of marriage and built a life filled with unwavering love, deep faith, and treasured family memories that will live on for generations.

Throughout his life, Luis worked as a Facilities Manager at Bobst Group Inc. for 45 years. He was known for his loyalty, gentle spirit, and the respect he earned through his hard work and kindness toward others.

Outside of work, Luis loved spending time with his family, traveling, soccer, tending to his plants, and celebrating life's simple joys. He especially enjoyed gathering his loved ones around the table and having a glass of red wine with his friends, telling stories that made everyone laugh, and creating moments of togetherness that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

Luis is survived by his wife, Rosa, daughter Ivonne and her husband, Daniel Rivera, daughter Katherine, and significant other Ronny Benjamin, son Luis Giovanni, and his wife Allyson. He is survived by 3 grandchildren, Rosalyn Rivera, Luis Rivera, and Jaxon Montes. Luis is also survived by mother, Beatriz Molineros, and his siblings, Rosario Montufar, Marcia Merizalde, Patricio Montes, and Mercedes Guidino. Luis was preceded in death by his brother, Mario Montes.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m., with a service at 3:30 p.m., at Shook-Farmer Funeral Home, 45 Roseland Ave., Roseland, NJ, shookfarmer.com.
