Luis Enrquie Olivieri Sr, 69, of Bronx New York, Passed away on November 23, 2025. Born on April 30, 1956 In Guyama Puerto Rico, he was a Devoted Husband to Janet Olivieri, a loving father to Sylvia Lassiter, Luis E Olivieri Jr, Amy Olivieri, and Luz Olivieri
Dad was hard working and dedicated. He spent over 20 years working as a terminal supervisor for MTA where he was known for his calm approach to conflict resolution. Despite his many responsibilities, he always made time for his family and his passions.
Though Dad may not have liked being the center of attention, he deserves to have his long years of fatherly love honored. He as a man of integrity, generosity, wisdom and he left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Dad's hobbies and interest helped define who he was. He enjoyed using his hands, often spent weekends building decks, fences, and gazebos if he could think it he could build it.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Janet Olivieri, his children Sylvia Lassiter, Luis Enrique Olivieri Jr., Amy Olivieri, Luz Elisa Olivieri, His Grandchildren Jetuan Jhane Bourne, Michael Isaish Bourne III, Darius Ian Bourne, Chris Williams Jr., Hunter Luis Branch as well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.
A funeral service will be held on Friday December 5 from 5-9pm at Crestwood Funeral Home.
A chapel service will take place on Saturday December 6 at 11am at Rosehill Crematory in Linden, NJ.
We find comfort in knowing that Dad's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the wisdom he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
