Luis Geraldo Redondo, age 76, passed away on February 23, 2024, in Valrico, Florida. He was born on September 6, 1947, in San Jose, Costa Rica. Vichy, as he was affectionately known, was a dedicated husband to Maria Redondo for 57 years and a loving father to his five children. He moved to the United States in 1979 and worked tirelessly to be reunited with his family. Luis and his family resided in Queens, NY, and later in White Plains, NY, before settling in Valrico, FL.
Luis was a devout member of Rock of Salvation church in Sleepy Hollow, NY, and later Iglesia Transformando El Mundo in Brandon, FL. He actively participated in church ministries, teaching Sunday school, leading Men's Ministers, and hosting home cell groups.
In his career, Luis owned and operated his own taxi in Costa Rica and later worked as a commercial vehicle driver for a moving company called Embarques Mundo in Queens, NY. He moved on to other endeavors such as working as a cook at the Courtyard by Marriott in Tarrytown, NY, and Brandon, FL. Apart from his dedication to his family and his work, Luis enjoyed watching soccer, particularly supporting his favorite Costa Rican team, Saprissa and European team, PSG. He also enjoyed reading and studying the Bible and had a passion for fitness like cycling and jogging.
Luis Geraldo Redondo is survived by his beloved wife (Maria Redondo), children (Grace Corrales, Luis, Randall, Jeudy, and Fred Redondo), grandchildren (Tiffany Sanchez, Kimberly Jones, Luis Redondo Jr, Matthew Corrales, Jonathan Corrales, Christopher Redondo, Samuel Redondo, Genya Redondo, Giselle Redondo, Tamara Redondo, Tomas Redondo), and great-grandchildren (King Jones, Emma Sanchez, Anthony Sanchez). He will be deeply missed by all who knew and love him.

Luis Geraldo Redondo, edad 76, falleció el 23 de Febrero del 2024 en Valrico, Florida.
Nació el 6 de septiembre en 1947 en San José, Costa Rica.
Vichy, como se le conocía de cariño, fue un esposo dedicado a Maria Redondo por 57 años y un amoroso padre con sus cinco hijos. Se mudo a los Estados Unidos en 1970 y trabajo arduamente para reunirse con su familia. Luis y su familia vivieron en Queens, NY y luego en White Plains, NY antes de establecerse en Valrico, FL.
Luis fue un miembro devoto de la iglesia Roca de Salvación en Sleepy Hollow, NY y luego la iglesia Transformando El Mundo en Brandon, FL. Activamente participo en los ministerios de la iglesia, ensenando en la escuela dominical, liderando en el ministerio de caballeros, y dirigiendo células en los hogares.
En su carrera, Luis fue dueño y manejo su propio taxi en Costa Rica y luego trabajo como chofer de vehículos comercial para una compañía de mudanzas llamada Embarques Mundo en Queens, NY. Luego paso sus empeños laborales trabajando como cocinero en el Courtyard por Marriott en Tarrytown, NY y Brandon, FL.
Aparte de su dedicación a su familia y a su trabajo, Luis disfrutaba viendo juegos de futbol, particularmente apoyando a su equipo favorito Saprissa de Costa Rica y PSG un equipo europeo. Redondo le sobreviven su amada esposa (Maria Redondo), hijos (Grace Corrales, Luis, Randall, Jeudy, and Fred Redondo), nietos (Tiffany Sanchez, Kimberly Jones, Luis Redondo Jr, Matthew Corrales, Jonathan Corrales, Christopher Redondo, Samuel Redondo, Genya Redondo, Giselle Redondo, Tamara Redondo, Tomas Redondo), y sus bisnietos (King Jones, Emma Sanchez, Anthony Sanchez). El será profundamente extrañado por todos aquellos lo que llegaron a conocer y por su familia que tanto lo ama.
