Luis Alfredo "Cano" Rodriguez

Rodriguez, Luis Alfredo "Cano", was born on April 9, 1946 in Puerto Rico to Hipolito and Maria Rodriguez. Luis, who resided in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, passed away on March 19, 2026 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Edna. Loving father of Luis Jr. (Maritza), Jose (Lorena), and Maria Rodriguez and Norma (Gilberto) Cuevas. Dear brother of Blanca (Raul) Nieves, Felix Rodriguez, Miguel (Maria) Rodriguez, and the late Virginia (the late Papo) Quiles, the late Ramona (Raphael), the late William and the late Antonio Rodriguez. Dearest grandfather of Krystle Rodriguez, Mariah Montanez, Demi, Kayla, Tatiana, Giovanni, and Talia Rodriguez, Joshua, Yesina and Edna Maria Rosado, Julius Rodriguez and Marc Anthony Rodriguez, and Jailyn and Cruz Cuevas. Loving great-grandfather of Zaniyah Lawrence, Matthew Rosado, Hannah Richards, Elijah Josian Rodriguez, Luca James Brown, Lazuli Sol Rodriguez-Foeman, Sebastian Rose Rodriguez Foeman and Azul Sebastian Rodriguez. Luis was preceded in death by his parents. Also survived by many other loving family and friends.

Visitation Monday, March 23, 2026 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. at the Dearborn Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 23701 Ford Road. (313) 278-5100. In state Tuesday 11:30 a.m. with a 12:00 noon Mass of the Resurrection to follow at St. Alfred Catholic Church, 9350 S. Telegraph Road, Taylor. Interment St. Hedwig Cemetery.
