Luisa R. Raschilla

Luisa R. Raschilla, 99, of Feasterville, PA passed away on December 28, 2023 after a long and rewarding life. She was the wife of the late Nicholas J. Raschilla with whom she shared 58 years of marriage. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 4, 1924 to the late Concezio and Liberata (DiCicco) Maiale. Luisa was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of St. Christopher's Church, Sons of Italy, Michelangelo Lodge #2260 in Southampton, PA and The Red Hat Society. Luisa was a talented artist and her loves included painting, stained glass, re-upholstering and gardening. Her bountiful garden was enjoyed year round by her family as she enjoyed canning the fruits of her labor. She was a talented seamstress and designed custom drapery and wedding gowns. She loved to cook, bake and play the organ. She is survived by her children Nicholas Raschilla Jr. (Patricia), Stephen Raschilla (Cheryl), Joseph Raschilla (Bernadette), Constance Folk (James), her grandchildren Robert, Stephanie, Cara, Christina, Julia and her brothers Eugene Maiale, Woody Maiale. She was pre-deceased by her grandchildren Joseph, Sofia, Adam, and sister Mary Arzounian. She was very fortunate to have many loving friends throughout her lifetime. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 10:30AM at St. Christopher's Church, 13301 Proctor Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19116.
