Luisita Veluz Visitacion, fondly known as Cita, was born on August 19, 1945 in Lucban, Quezon, Philippines, the second daughter to Jose and Teodora Veluz. After graduating high school from Luzonian Colleges, she attended the University of the East and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. When Cita immigrated to the United States in 1970, her first job was working at a convalescent hospital in San Francisco. She moved on to work for Blue Shield of California in the Bay and Sacramento area, retiring after 37 years.

Cita was a kind-hearted, thoughtful, and generous person who enjoyed being surrounded by her family and friends. As a devout Catholic, she put her faith in God and constantly prayed for her loved ones. She was a chocoholic who enjoyed cooking and baking to share with everyone. Her favorite room in the house was the kitchen. She loved to travel and visited many countries in Europe, Asia, Canada and Mexico. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping, watching movies, and trying dishes at the latest restaurants. She was a planner and always had the next special occasion in mind.

Cita is survived by her husband, Ricky; her children and their spouses, Mark and Amy, Patrick and Amy, Sharane and Francis, Everard and Katie; her five grandchildren, Brandon, Kaylie, Kiana, Isabella, and Ariana; and her sisters, Marietta and Fideliza. Cita will be forever cherished in our hearts as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I worked with Cita at Blueshield. She was such a great person and good friend. I wish I would have known sooner that she had passed away. Again...so sorry for your loss.
