Luke "Cork" Boyer, a beloved son, brother, father, and friend, passed away on April 2, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He was born in Potosi, MO on January 24, 1954.
Known for his love of nature and the outdoors, Luke found joy in simple pleasures like fishing, playing guitar, being in the woods, creek walking, and hunting arrowheads. His passion for life was infectious, touching the hearts of all who knew him.
Luke is reunited in eternity with his mother Margaret Mamie Ellen Boyer and father William Joseph Boyer. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Reldon "Lurch" Boyer, Jesse Boyer and niece, Donna Boyer.
Luke leaves behind a loving family who will miss him dearly. He is survived by his daughters Stacey Boyer of Potosi, MO; Crystal Minchue and husband Jason of Cadet, MO; Missy Preis of Hillsboro, MO; Andrea Golden of Potosi, MO; his son Eli Boyer of Mineral Point, MO; brothers Edward Boyer and wife Sandra of De Soto, MO; Roger Boyer and wife Martha of Gentry, AR; and William Boyer of Gentry, AR.
A visitation to honor Luke's life will be held on Friday, April 5th from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Another visitation will be held on Saturday, April 6th from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi, MO. A funeral service will take place on April 6th at 11:00 AM at Moore Funeral Home followed by internment at Redbud Memorial Gardens in Potosi, MO.
In the midst of our sorrow of Luke's passing, let us remember the laughter he brought into our lives and find peace in the memories we shared with him.
