Luke Hoysic, age 62, passed away on September 24, 2025.
Beloved husband and best friend of 38 years to Cheryl, proud father of Nichole and husband Eric, loving grandfather to Sebastian and Miles. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Born in 1963, in Rochester NY, Luke was one of eight wonderful siblings to Mother (Rosemary) and Father (Peter).
Luke had a lifelong love of music, singing with several bands such as Sour Mash, St. Luke and the Sinners, and Authorized Personnel. He enjoyed the outdoors and shared many trips to the family cottage with Cheryl and Nichole and his brothers and sisters. But most of all he cherished time spent with family.
Luke had an amazing sense of humor, making everyone, most especially his grandsons, laugh. He had a big bear hug and an easy-going nature that made others feel at ease. He appreciated the little things in life that make the world a better place- he made the world a better place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
