Luke Clayton Newell

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Luke Clayton Newell, who left us unexpectedly on June 14, 2024, at the age of 36. Born in Tarrant County, TX, Luke was a loving family man, a cherished friend, and a passionate individual who lived life to its fullest.
Luke enjoyed his career at Tarheel Paving, where he found not just a job but a calling. He was deeply grateful for the mentorship of John Pace, whose guidance he greatly respected and admired. Luke's dedication and hard work were evident in everything he did.
Outside of work, Luke had a zest for life that was truly inspiring. He loved riding his motorcycle and found peace and joy in the great outdoors. Whether exploring new trails or simply enjoying the beauty of nature, Luke embraced every moment with enthusiasm and a sense of adventure.
He is survived by his loving parents, Warren Roslyn Newell and Peggy Sue Martin; his mother and father in law, William A. and Vicki Hubbard Manke; his devoted wife, Kristi Manke Newell; his treasured daughter, Pyper Newell; his beloved sons, Landon and Noah Newell; his caring sister, Alisha Marie Lillian Labelle; and his supportive brother, Timothy Briss Newell. Luke also leaves behind a large family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends who liked and loved him dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 5pm on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at the Geneva Hotel & Tiki Bar. This gathering will be a time to honor Luke's memory, share stories, and find comfort in the presence of those who knew and loved him.
