Luke Richter Obituary
Luke was a loving husband and dedicated father, he married his wife Jenny on April 18, 2012 and they welcomed their only daughter Evelyn into the world on July 14, 2015. Luke was blessed to have the love of both Jenny and Evelyn in his life making him a very lucky man.
Luke enjoyed ice fishing and spending time at the Cabin on Long Lake with family and friends. As a 1996 graduate of Spooner HS Luke lettered in football and wrestling.
Luke owned Richter Landscaping and was an A&P Mechanic for Delta, Champion and Sun Country Airlines and did both jobs for 25 years.
Luke was a generous and caring man that always put others before himself. He was always available to lend a helping hand to a friend in need.
He is survived by his loving wife Jenny, his beautiful daughter Evelyn, and his faithful miniature schnauzer Hank; mother and stepfather Julie and Craig Cable of Spooner WI; grandparents Dick and Emily Durand of Spooner WI; siblings Ben (Jenny) Richter of Victoria MN, Emmie (Justin) Crotteau of Rice Lake WI, and Lee (Allison) Richter of Superior WI; five nieces Nina, Mia, Elsie, Carmen, and Jazzlynn; nephew Benjamin Crotteau; great nephew Asher Hacken; uncle Jon (Jennifer) Durand of Belgrade MT; close friend Paul (Kellie) Tasto of Jordan MN.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Norbert and Luella Richter; father Perry Richter; uncle Craig Richter; nephew Niklas Richter.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at ZOE Church in Burnsville, MN. Visitation will begin at 10am, with the service starting at 11am. Greg Linz officiating.

Luke... We met in A&P school, and would work together at Sun Country, Champion Air, STS and Compass Airlines over the years. It was fun to work with him. We were sent to Los Angeles to change an engine, and we rented a car and cruised the Hollywood Strip and Sunset Blvd/Beverly Hills, having dinner on Santa Monica Pier. Such a great guy. My condolences to everyone he´s touched.

Luke was a good man. He was a neighbor and a friend. Usually when we spoke it was a friendly chat about ice fishing or our kids. He will be missed by many.

This comes as a complete shock! I met Luke working at Champion Air, then met up with him again here at Delta. I talked to him a few weeks ago, always smiling and genuinely happy to see you. I am so very sorry for his family and his friends. I only hope he´s resting easy.
