John Fetrow
January 22, 2026
I spent some time in the summer with Uncle Emmett and Aunt Kay - it is one of my most treasured memories. I rode on Uncle Emmett's tractor, and he even let me drive an old pickup truck in the field. Aunt Kay taught me how to shell peas and husk corn, and when she told me what a good job I did, I beamed with pride. Even though they've passed, they are very much alive in my heart.
The photos include me with Emmett and Kay by their spring house, Emmett giving my wife, Carol, a hug, and the old outhouse.
