LEWISBERRY - Lula Kay (Cutlip) Fetrow, 89, died on January 15, 2026 at Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home in Carlisle, PA. She was born in Lewisberry, Warrington Township, York County. She was predeceased by her parents, John Preston Cutlip & Lydia Ella (Hanna) Cutlip, her siblings (5 brothers & 3 sisters) and her husband, Emmett B. Fetrow, all of Lewisberry. She is survived by nieces and nephews.

Kay loved & raised horses on her parents' Lewisberry farm where this "country girl" became an accomplished equestrian and agricultural advocate. When she met Emmett, they worked the farm together with her father. In 1955 it became the Fetrow Farm. On Sept 1, 1956 Kay & Emmett married & continued to operate the farm long into their golden years.

Kay graduated from Northern High School in 1954 and completed her Computerized Office Management degree at Consolidated Business School. She was employed at Harbold Ford, Arendt's Trailer Sales & was a Certified Notary Public.

Kay lived a simple happy life without the need to impress. She loved to encourage others and valued those with opposing viewpoints. She and her spouse rode their horses in parades, on group trail rides and at community events. They were members of the Wellsville Frontier Riding Club.

Lula Kay's faith was important to her. She belonged to various local churches, but this "cowgirl's" weekly inspiration always turned to "Cowboy Church" on Sundays.

Following cremation, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Lula Kay's memorial service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover. Burial will take place in Emanuel Cemetery in Lewisberry. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Robert A. Stewart.
