Clair J. "Skip" Fetrow

Clair J. "Skip" Fetrow of New Cumberland passed away peacefully on January 22,2026. He was born on March 22,1932 in Lewisberry to the late Harvey H. and Florence [Worley] Fetrow.

Skip was proud to serve his country for 24 years. His military career began with the 28th Infantry Division PA National Guard. He would retire in 1974 as a Tech Sergeant from the United States Air Force with 20 years of service. Assignments included Germany, England, Labrador, the Philippines, Thailand, and many bases in the United States.

Skip is survived by his wife Kathleen, daughters Melanie Knowles, Amy Hoke [Robert], and Julie Redshaw. Grandchildren Logan [Laura], Tyler [Julia], and Allison [Aaron]. Great Grandchildren Charlotte, Jack, Bennett, and Lydia.

He was preceded in death by siblings Thearl, Melvin [Fuzz], Nathan, Jeanette, Emmett, and his son-in-law Stephen Redshaw.

Throughout Skip's life he enjoyed roller skating, horseback riding, bowling, traveling, woodworking, and activities with his children and grandchildren.

Skip had an active long life, a strong work ethic, and will be dearly missed by his family.
