Deborah Fetrow Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc. - Dallastown on Jul. 30, 2025.
Deborah J. (Chronister) Fetrow, 75, of Windsor, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at WellSpan York Hospital.

Born in York on January 5, 1950, Deborah was the beloved daughter of the late Elwood "Skee" and Jean (Sechrist) Chronister. She was a graduate of Eastern High School and built a dedicated career as a pension administrator at Glatfelter Insurance Company, retiring after more than 30 years of loyal service.

Deborah's vibrant personality and warm heart left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her. She was the kind of person who always wore a bright smile and put the needs of others before her own. A true social butterfly, Deborah lit up the dance floor and every room she entered while cultivating lifelong friendships that meant the world to her.

She was a devoted sports enthusiast, especially fond of the Baltimore Ravens. However, her greatest joy came from supporting her children and grandchildren in their many pursuits. Her love for her family was unmatched-whether attending sporting events, dance competitions, school functions, or simply spending time together, Deborah cherished every moment. She found peace and happiness in travel, especially to the beach, and took great pleasure in getaways with her close-knit group of girlfriends. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was a member of Bethany United Church of Red Lion.

Deborah is survived by her two loving sons, Bradley Miller and his wife Rebecca, and Brian Miller and his wife Joann. She was a proud and adoring grandmother to Ethyn, Chaeli, Aliyah, and Elijah Miller. She is also survived by her brother, Steven Chronister, and his wife Jo Ann, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, May 31, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at New Fairview Church, 1873 New Fairview Church Rd., York, PA 17403. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM, with interment in New Fairview Cemetery. Services are under the care of the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., Dallastown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Deborah's memory can be made to the Cancer Care Associates of York Patient Fund.
