On Wednesday, February 18, 2026, Dale H. Newcomer, 80, of Dover, passed away suddenly at home. He was the devoted husband to Connie A. (Kopp) Newcomer for 60 years. Dale was born on July 18, 1945, in Dover, at home, to the late Harry and Viola Mae (Glass) Newcomer. He grew up on the family farm, and graduated from Northern High School in 1963. For 33 years he worked for York Casket Company, retiring as a Supervisor. He then worked for Adhesive Research in the Medical Division for another 13 years before retiring.
Dale was a National Street Rod Association Member and enjoyed going to car shows, working on cars, and fixing things up around the house. He liked going to the beach; listening to 50's and 60's music; going hunting in his younger days; and going to the Christian Jam where he cherished meeting people and listening to the live music.
Dale is survived by his wife, Connie; two sons, Jerry Newcomer and Rob Newcomer and his wife, Chris; two grandchildren, Kara Saleet and husband Zach, and Erin Newcomer and boyfriend Josh Farnsworth and his children, Arya and Logan Farnsworth; one great-grandchild, Odin Alexander Saleet; and two siblings, Erma Yurich and Earl Newcomer and wife Lou. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Marie Stoner and Janet Wiley.
Public viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 24, from 11:00am until a funeral service begins at 1:00pm at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, PA. Please dress causal. Interment will be private at the family's convenience.
