Lula "Toot" Mann

Lula Mann (affectionately known as "Toot"), 83, passed away July 3, 2024. She was born September 22, 1940 to the late Columbus and Ruth Moore Mann. She is also preceded in death by her sister Lenora Salter; adopted son Jermaine Arlington; nephew Dennis Moore.
Lula left Nash County in 1958 after finishing school. She lived in New York form 1958 until 2022. Lula had no biological children but an adoptive son, Jermaine. That Jermaine was the apple of her eye, and it wasn't much she wouldn't do for him.
Lula had diverse interests and hobbies. She was passionate about taking care of her family, often spending weeks with her mother cooking and cleaning. She also enjoyed traveling and never missed an opportunity to hit the road and visit her family. Lula was an excellent cook, her fried chicken, spaghetti, and cornbread were family favorites.
Lula leaves to cherish her memory, her sisters Mary Hill and Bobby Mann; brothers Lee Moore and William Whitaker (Genelle); nieces and nephews Sheila (Artis), Linda, Brenda, Tracey, Ohiyashia, Terry, Wendy, Travis, Kelly and Michael.
A visitation will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Cornerstone Funeral Home, 1052 S First St. Nashville, NC with the service following at 11:00am in the chapel.
