My mother, Joyce White, viewed Lu as a confidential friend and had countless enjoyable conversations at the "Beauty Box", along with many other women for years. She kept my mother´s hair beautiful. I have fond memories of the entertaining conversations at the "Beauty Box".

Lu always welcomed friends with her beautiful smile at the salon, in the grocery stores, and at the Kingdom Hall.
