Lydia Rae Gordon, 69 of Dry Ridge, Kentucky returned to the Lord on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Owenton Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Owenton, Kentucky, while surrounded by family.
Born Monday, January 16, 1956, in Muncie, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Rollin Kerrigan and the late Leta Threet Kerrigan. She was one of two children.
Lydia is remembered for her devout love of the Lord. She was a proud member of the Pentecostals of Sparta, TN, for many years. She believed in the labor of love and focused deeply on family. With her wisdom, Lydia could be relied upon for her advice and always had an ear to listen to others; she was someone that could always be counted on. She will be dearly missed.
Surviving are:
4 children, Shawn Rollin (Sierra) Gordon of Dry Ridge, KY; Zach (Nina) Gordon of Ashland, KY; Chad (Blaire) Gordon of Los Angeles, CA; and Missy (Rob) Stucko of Fort Wayne, IN
6 grandchildren, Kennedy, Sabrina, Sam, Gala, Huddie, and Dreyden
and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Lydia was preceded in death by dear husband, Charles Albert Gordon, and sister, Aleta Renee Kerrigan.
A funeral service for Lydia will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 1:00PM at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, 1786 Smithville Hwy, Sparta, TN 38583. The family will receive friends from 11:00AM until time of service. Interment will follow at Oak Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Sparta, TN.
