WE REMEMBER THOMAS MICHAEL SZEWCZUK
April 3, 1946 - October 11, 2025 with love
His soul, like a beautiful flower, has returned to God. May he rest in peace.
Former System Engineer at Lockheed Martin. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Szewczuk; his son, Lawrence Szewczuk; his daughter, Angela Szewczuk; his step-son, Daniel Hoffman; Step-daughters; Nicolle Lane and Tiffany Ferrari; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is survived by his sister Lynne Sheller, his sister Kathy Coryell, his sister Jayne Plumbly, as he joins in rest with his mother Jeanne (Mealy) Szewczuk; father John Szewczuk; and his brother Jack szewczuk.
Thomas was an adoring husband to his wife Sharon Szewczuk, loving father to his children and grandchildren. He had a strong presence, was thoughtful and kind and had an infectious smile. He was passionate about family, photography, World War II airplanes, computers, Blue Bird monitoring, and life. His enthusiasm, humor and integrity will be missed by family, friends and colleagues.
To my husband, my best friend and project coordinator. We championed each other, lifted each other up, celebrated each other's successes, and created many projects together. We experienced many new things with our children's weddings, the birth of grandchildren and traveling. You made life easy, fun, exciting and full of joy. You are a beloved father and grandfather. Be at peace and know I am grateful for our beautiful journey. I will always love you. Oak Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Cemetery is honored to serve th Szewczuic family
