Susan Linette "Smith" Smith

Susan Linette Smith, age 66, of Bon Air Mountain, passed away on March 21, 2026. She was born on March 9, 1960, and spent her life surrounded by family, laughter, and the place she proudly called home.

Susan was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wayne Brock, and her parents, Don Smith and Beulah Lewis.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Todd Brock (Janice Brock) and Belinda Brown (Scott Brown); her grandson, Caleb Todd Brock; and her granddaughter, Kaylee Rose Brown. She is also survived by her brothers, Marshall Smith (Cradis Smith) and Tony Lee Smith; her sister, Robbie Tindle; her sister-in-law, Keisha Smith; her nephew, Zackery Lee Smith; and her close friends, Melanie Marshall and Patty Young.

Susan was a long-time employee of Mallory Timers, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic.

She found joy in the simple things-fishing, hunting for a good bargain, and most of all, "cutting up" and joking with family and friends. She never met a stranger and could make anyone laugh within minutes. Her sense of humor and warm spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Susan will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her laughter, her love for her family, and the light she brought into everyday moments.
