Lydia Marie Villalobos, born on April 16, 1949, in Morocco, Africa, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, at the age of 76, in Virginia Beach, VA, with her children by her side.
Lydia was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, cherished for her warmth and dedication to her family. She spent many years working as a clerk at Costco, where she was well regarded by colleagues and customers alike for her kindness and steadfast work ethic.
Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her loved ones, and she will be fondly remembered for the love and care she gave to those around her. Lydia's gentle spirit and nurturing nature left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Odette Messoda Wilson and Carl Douglas Wilson.
Lydia is survived by her loving daughter, Tammy, and son-in-law Chuy; her devoted son, David, and daughter-in-law Zorina; and her five cherished grandchildren: Nayeli, Sara, Katie Rose, Andrew, and Dylan. She also leaves behind four beloved great-grandchildren: Harley, Mia, Olive, and Indigo, who were constant sources of joy and pride.
For the past 29 years, Lydia bravely battled several forms of cancer. Through every challenge, she continued to live fully, laugh deeply, and love fiercely. Her strength, humor, and warmth touched every person blessed enough to know her.
Lydia Marie Villalobos will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who were touched by her kindness and love. Her legacy lives on in the family she adored and in the countless memories they will forever hold close.
