Lyle Raymond Hubbard

Mr. Lyle Raymond Hubbard, age 81 of Meadows of Dan, Virginia passed away at The Landmark Center on Wednesday, March 13, 2025. He was born in Patrick County on April 26, 1943, to the late Charlie Dan Hubbard and India Mae Wood Hubbard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Luther Wade Hubbard (Cornelia), Leonard Hampton Hubbard (Iva Jane), and Larkin Eugene Hubbard; and two nephews, David Hubbard and Danny Hubbard. Lyle was a member of Vesta Rescue Squad. He attended and was a faithful member of the New Covenant Fellowship Church in Bassett, Virginia.

Left to cherish the memories of Lyle are two siblings, Ruby Lelia Hubbard of Rocky Mount, and Charles Howard “Pete” Hubbard (Linda) of Meadows of Dan; one sister-in-law, Lala Hubbard of Meadows of Dan; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Mr. Hubbard will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. in Hubbard Family Cemetery with Pastor Marcus Wood and Pastor Terry Martin officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Vesta Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 911, Meadows of Dan, VA 24120.
