Lyle J. Karren passed away on March 15, 2025. He was born to Donna Rose and John Hyrum Karren on July 1, 1953 in Vernal, UT.
Lyle married the love of his life Wendy Wilkins on June 2, 1973 they were blessed with 2 boys Shane and Lance.
Lyle was raised around sheep. He loved working with the flock. As he got older, he worked in the Timber industry, the tire industry, the oilfield, and eventually bought his own farm where he raised sheep. Lyle was a hard worker who helped his neighbors and anyone who needed help. He and Wendy were married almost 52 years.
Lyle loved his family and felt like he had a great life.
The family thanks Canyon Home Care and Hospice for their caring of Lyle in his final days.
He is survived by; his dear wife Wendy, sons Shane Karren and Lance (Angel) Karren, grandkids; Alexus (Alec), Erika (Anthony), Camryn (Tavin), Shane, Dominick, Nariah, Tymberlee (Jadin), Tobyn, Trapper(Rylee), great-grandkids; Taycen, Kohen, Kemree, JadeLyn, McKinlee, Leavitt, Beau, Huxlee, brothers; Johnny and Randy (Terri), sisters; Brenda (Randy) and Kathy.
He is preceded in death by his mother Donna, father John, step-dad Floyd, mother-in-law Shirley Wilkins, father-in-law Floyd Tobe Wilkins and sister Carma.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 21, 2025 at 11 am at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary with viewings Thursday, March 20th from 6-8pm and Friday 1 hour prior to service all at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
Burial will be in the Jensen Cemetery, under the care of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
