Lyle E. Siggelkow, 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 24, 2025, surrounded by family at Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison. He was born March 24, 1945, in McFarland, to Earle and Bertha “Bertie-Lou” (Hoffman) Siggelkow. Lyle enjoyed drumming and was both a member and instructor for the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps. He was also a proud U.S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam, December 1968 to April 1969.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Brey) Siggelkow; daughter, Emily Siggelkow (and fiancé Kenneth Leonhardt); sister, Dorthea (Siggelkow) Matson; nephew, Steven Matson; and great-nephews, Ryan Matson and Cole Gooder, sister-in-law, Patricia (Charles "Chuck") Heltsley; niece, Lauren (Tom) Oast; and Great nephews, Oliver and Owen Oast.
A celebration of life honoring Lyle will be held in the spring.
