Lynda Ann Cronin, age 53, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024, after a long battle with cancer, leaving a void in the hearts of all who knew her. She was born on February 24, 1971, in Weatherford, Texas, to Bob Choate and Jayne (Williams) Choate. Throughout her life, Lynda exemplified excellence and unwavering dedication.
A loving mother to her two children, Brady and Bailey, Lynda's devotion to her family was evident in all she did. She loved being a mother and she saw it as her greatest accomplishment.
Known for her meticulous care of her home, she took pride in maintaining a pristine environment. After a successful career as a cosmetologist, she transitioned into the banking industry, ultimately achieving the role of Senior Vice President/Loan Officer at Affiliated Bank. In her leisure time, Lynda found solace in crafting, painting, and shopping.
Lynda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Curley and Nita Williams, and Geneva Green, as well as her cousin, Shane Colliflower.
She is survived by her son, Brady Cronin; daughter, Bailey Cronin; parents, Bob and Jayne Choate; sister, Misti Glasscock; nephew, Jimmy Glasscock and his wife, Coralie; aunt, Judy Putnel; cousins; and the father of her children, Joe Cronin.
A funeral service to celebrate Lynda's life will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, August 2, 2024, at the South Side Baptist Church, in Weatherford, Texas. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Memory Gardens Cemetery, in Weatherford.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the visitation on Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, in Weatherford.
