Lynda Pierson Obituary

Lynda Gayle Raley Pierson, of Austin, Texas, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025. She was born on August 4, 1950. Her parents, Betty and Burch Raley, welcomed their first daughter while living in Jal, New Mexico. Lynda attended elementary and middle school in Jal, and the family moved to Amarillo during her high school years. She graduated from Tascosa High School. At the time of her passing, she had been working alongside her close friend, Trey Wyatt, at Cedar Creek Tree Farms for more than thirty years, where her work ethic and lively spirit touched countless lives. Lynda's personality was magnetic and entirely her own; there was simply no one else like her. She had an infectious enthusiasm for sports that was brightest during football season. Whether cheering for her beloved Texas Longhorns, the Dallas Cowboys, or the Kansas City Chiefs, her joy was contagious and felt by everyone. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Tiffany and son Trey Langford of Austin; her grandsons Milo Pena of Austin and Chayce Marshall of Wichita Falls; her sisters Gloria Edwards of Georgetown and Cathie Rosser of Austin; her nieces Deena Cogan and Melissa Montgomery of Leander, and Kimberly Rosser of Austin; and her aunt Margaret Rees of Colorado City, along with many extended family members and friends. A Celebration of Life honoring Lynda will be held on Sunday, October 19. For those wishing to attend, please contact
