Lyndon Blaxton, 76, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026, at his residence. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Moulton Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Moulton Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Wakefield and Dr. Jesse Reeder officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing. Burial will be at Moulton Memory Gardens.
Born on May 2, 1949, to J.B. and Lela McDonald Blaxton, Lyndon retired from public safety after 30 years of service to his community. He was a member of Moulton Baptist Church. Above all he loved his wife and family and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Linda Parker Blaxton; sisters, Joyce Dotson and Jane (Virgil) Vest; brothers, Ray (Joyce) Blaxton and Phillip (Debbie) Blaxton; brother-in-law, Vernon (Carolyn) Parker; nieces and nephews, Cindy (Randy) Greene, Connie (Danny) White, Rita (John) Dunlap, Jessie (Teresa) Blaxton, Gary (Penny) Vest, Kay (Mike) Hanline, Leigh Ann (Jon Bret) Smith, and Keith (Trina) Dotson; and extended family.
Lyndon was preceded in death by his parents, J,B. and Lela Blaxton; brother, Ricky Blaxton; in-laws, Dewey and Mildred Parker; brother-in-law, Rabon Dotson.
Pallbearers will be Steve Coan, Reggie Sprinkle, Brian Phillips, Tim Miles, Scott Norwood, and Scott Pilgreen.
Honorary Pallbearers are Firemen and Law Enforcement.
